Dreamstate SoCal 2026 is Friday, November 20 and Saturday, November 21 at the Queen Mary Waterfront in Long Beach. The event runs 4 PM to 1 AM, and afterparties run midnight to 6 AM, per the event's hours page. Order-by dates are at the bottom.
Let me be straight with you first. Dreamstate is a trance weekend, and Raverr is a bass shop. Most of our designs were drawn for the wub, not the 138 BPM build. I'm not going to pretend otherwise. But a lot of people I know go to both, and the outfit problem at Dreamstate is one I know well. It's a waterfront in November, the gates open in daylight, and the night ends long after the sun is gone. That's a layering problem, and layers are what we make.
I won't guess the forecast. Look at the real Long Beach forecast that week, and read the event's own rules before you pack anything you're not sure about.
Dress for the water, not the photo
A venue on the water at night has its own weather. Even on a mild day, the air coming off the harbor after dark feels colder than the number on your phone. You'll be warm on a packed floor, and then you'll walk out to the next stage and feel it. If you're staying for the afterparty, you'll be out until six in the morning. That's two different nights in one ticket.
So build it in layers. Wear a tee or your outfit on the floor. Bring a hoodie you can pull on between stages and at the end of the night. Wear shoes you've already broken in, because a big waterfront site means a lot of walking.
The hoodies I'd bring to a trance night
Trance crowds are about the feeling more than the joke, so I'd skip our loudest sentences here. These are the ones I think fit the room:
Peace Love and Wubs. It has a peace sign wearing headphones on the chest and PEACE LOVE AND WUBS on the back over a sloth in magenta-to-purple headphones. PLUR isn't a genre thing. This is the one people buy four of when a group can't agree, and it works just as well at a trance show as at a bass night.
Gonna Wub One Out (Zen Sloth). A sloth meditating cross-legged on a bass cabinet, eyes closed, inside a neon sound-wave halo. If you've ever stood still with your eyes shut through a long breakdown, you know the feeling. On black, the neon glows.
Lost My Friends, Found The Drop. Four stages and an afterparty is how crews scatter. The back has big letters over a laser-lit crowd. On the light colors (Bone, Oatmeal Heather, Light Pink), the ink goes dark, so it reads in a dark crowd. That makes it the easy hoodie to find at 2 AM.
Hands Up at 138 Trance Hoodie. This is the one design we drew for trance specifically, a nod to the 138 BPM build. If you want something that matches the room instead of the wub, start here. PLUR Kandi Hands fits the same mood.
All of our hoodies are a Cotton Heritage M2580, 8.5 oz cotton-faced fleece. They're warm enough for a harbor walk, and too warm for the middle of a packed floor, which is why you'll want to tie it on when you're inside. They run small, so size up if you're layering. Hoodies are $64, or $68 from 2XL up. The cart ships free at $75.
If you run hot, a tee and a plan
Some people dance hard from the first set and never feel the cold. If that's you, wear a light tee and keep the hoodie in your bag for the exit. Peace Love and Wubs also comes as a tee. The Lightweight 3001 is our tee for inside the show. Tees are $32 for the Lightweight 3001, or $40 for the Heavyweight 1717 ($36 and $44 from 2XL up).
The small stuff that saves the night
- Earplugs in a pocket. A long set at full volume is still a long set at full volume.
- A meeting spot at a fixed landmark, written down, with a time. Phones die.
- A plan for the hoodie inside: tied on, in a bag, or worn. Don't drop it on the ground somewhere.
- Something dry for the ride home if you're staying for the afterparty.

- A fleece hoodie sized up, for between stages and the walk out
- Broken-in closed-toe shoes
- Earplugs, a charged phone and a written meeting spot
- A dry layer waiting if you're doing the afterparty

What should I wear to Dreamstate?
Wear your floor outfit or a light tee, broken-in shoes for a big waterfront site, and a hoodie you can pull on between stages and at the end of the night. A November night on the water usually feels colder than the forecast number.

It depends on the year, so check the Long Beach forecast that week. The event is on the waterfront and runs well past dark, and the afterparties run until 6 AM, so most people want a layer for the walk out.
